I turned away from the monitor for a moment, looked up and saw white fluffy stuff falling from the sky outside my window. I jumped out of my chair, opened up my window and stretched out an arm.
It was snow.
It fell lightly onto my palm and melted away instantly. It felt like foam.
I ran out of my room and exclaimed, 'It's snowing outside!' Ran back to my room, grabbed my camera, ran downstairs, put on my jacket and boots, went outside and tried to take some photos of the first snow of the season.
I still don't know how to shoot with night modes. Shutter speed is so slow that I have to stay very still to get a not-blur shot. With the freezing weather, it makes staying still even harder.
Anyway, the snowing lasted for only about 5minutes. After that, it looked more like rain. And then, it stopped. But still, it was exciting to see the first snow of the season, first time in my life.
Yep, I'm a snow virgin. Oh wait, I hope that came out right. Oh, whatever. This will be my first real winter.
