While sending Helmi to gymnastics, turned on radio in the car.
Helmi: What is the best band?
Me: Mmm, I dunno. I like Bon Jovi.
H: Do you like Lady Gaga?
Me: (Lol!) Um, some of her songs, yes. Do you like Lady Gaga?
H: A little bit. Matias likes a lot Lady Gaga.
Me: Hahahah...okay :P
H: But I like only a little bit.
Me: (I should so blog about it and immortalise it)

Lunch for the past two days were easy as Anu planned out for me what to cook :P First, it was makaroni laatikko. It's basically macaroni with meat cooked with spices and baked in milk and egg liquid. Easy and filling dish. But I still managed to screw up the steps pfftt. Still, it's edible. Just not as tasty as I expected.
I made in two dishes because Eliel caught me taking eggs from the fridge and went, 'No! No eggs! No eggs! It won't taste good!' Which I went, 'But it has to have eggs.' Then he retorted, 'Then I'm not gonna eat.' Bleh. He wanted just the macaroni and meat. So I put them in a separate dish just to make him believe it's without eggs.
Then it was what looks like kinkkukiusaus to me; something I bought from the store before and the packaging said 'kinkkukiusaus'. I have no idea what it means but it's ham and potato. Shredded ham and shredded potato and onions, to be precise. Another simple and fulfilling dish. Just mix everything and add cream. And walaa!
This is Saana, who comes over everyday after school. Sometimes joining us for lunch and loves cucumber a lot. She's sleeping over tonight and also Sean (I'm not sure how to spell his name in Finnish), Eemil's friend. We had a table full of kids during iltapala tonight. All 5 of them.
Yes, chess. A game I still do not know how to play. Way to go, girl.
