Mon-Wed

Monday,17th April

Worked worked worked till 7pm. Colour coding for Lot 111-individual units, spa chalets type 1 - 7 + restaurant and presidential suite. Continued calculating GEA, GIA, and NIA for Lot 19-Venice Apartment for Kamal for John. He needed it as the first thing in the morning but I had to leave for a dinner at Victoria Station in Bangsar. Woon's mom's birthday on Tuesday but Tuan (Woon's youngest bro) has tuition from 8pm-10pm on Tuesday. So can't wait.

Four of us. Was hoping Rachel would be there but was thinking about the hassle of her being there too. Anyway. Everyone ordered steak for their main course. I on the other hand, love lamb. Had lamb shank that wasn't in their menu but it was so oh-my-goodness delicious! I didn't even need to apply pressure in cutting the meat off the bone...ohh..sooo yummyyy....*mmmmm* Oh before that, we all had escargots and garlic breads for appetisers. =D

After we finished our food, Woon's dad asked his mom if she wanted chocolate cake. But his mom said no, cos she was full. Besides, she said chocolate cake is better to eat with coffee. Then he kept quiet. Just when the bill came, the captain brought a piece of chocolate cake with the plastic 'Happy Birthday' word and a candle on top of it. I laughed out loud. "Oh so THIS is the chocolate cake?" His dad laughed. Everyone laughed. Hehe.

Dinner was good. Superbly good. I still prefer the escargot in Shook!. And the foei gras. Irresistable. =)

I was told about going out for dinner tonight when I was in the car going to work in the morning. What level do you expect my brains to be at when I have just woken up about 30mins ago? I thought it was just some normal dinner so I thought I could do some shopping after work and give it to her the next day. But whatever.

Tuesday, 18th April

Colour coding again till Weds. Dateline: tomorrow. Colour colour colour till 9.30pm. Went shopping. Last minute shopping. First stop: Body shop. For myself and for her too. A lip exofoliator cost 30bux. Not bad I thought. But I was so smart to go shopping without withdrawing money first. I had only 40bux :( As a gift, not so practical if I buy JUST one body shampoo right? But a gift set..she might not like the scent also. She's quite picky actually. Left Body Shop in the end.

Think! What to buy for a woman who has almost everything? There must be something that she doesn't have. Passed by Goldheart diamonds. VERY funny. Walked from north to south, south to north. Not near y'know. Summore chasing the time. Shops were closing. Then I passed by Island shop. I once saw a shirt suitable for her. But that was like 3 Christmases ago. But I gave it a shot anyway. Nothing. Next.

Followed my intuition. Looked for the kiosk that sells names with origins and meanings. Thankfully, I found the lil' kiosk, not even knowing which court it is in. Hah. My lucky day. But at times like this, I wish I had wheels on my shoes. That fella was closing edy. But he saw me, ahem so leng lui so he layan me haha. Anyway, I got her name printed on a paper with flower and had it framed. She put it on the chest of drawers in the hall :)

But hope she really liked it. She thought I made it myself at first. Why hadn't I thought of that? Gah!!! I would, if I had the time :(

Wednesday, 19th April

Colour coding. At least it's better than Autocad. Groups 1-13. Delayed dateline: tomorrow possibly. 8pm: Hungry. Went to mamak with the siao kias. Came back into the office with the aroma of currypuff. 9.30pm: Cabut.

Dinner: Pineapple fried rice. Nice :) Read newspaper for a while, and here I am, when everyone is sleeping, I'm still using the comp :P I need to go back now, take a shower and sleep. Oh, Rachel's going to be a big sista!!! Her mom's 2-mths pregnant! :P Hehe. The other day only Rachel told me she wants a mei mei. Haha. So cute. Good for her. She won't be the only child anymore =)
