So off we went. I thought it was a swimming hall. Turns out, it's a lake where everyone can go and swim. It reminded me of beaches back at home, like in PD. The air was filled with joy and laughter, the sound of water splashing, picnic mats and families with kids everywhere you turn. It was also a breezy day.
I took a dip in the water seeing Helmi wanted a companion. Not too cold. Great! I went deeper. There was a consistent breeze. The deeper I went, the colder it was. I think 15minutes later, I decided to go back to shore, and continued on my book...and left Helmi in the water alone :P She said it was okay!
She came up after a while and asked me to join her again. I said, ok, I'll give it another try. I dipped my whole body in this time and stayed in the water. Yea, this feels just nice. Maybe I should just stay this way. Then I tried to swim, which I failed. Helmi tried to teach me how to swim, which I still failed in copying her. She dove into the water and did a headstand, legs up in the air. And then I went, 'I wanna try to do that!' To which she told me to go deeper until the water reaches my chin. That was when she literally pushed me further. Until I could feel the steepness of the ground. And that was when I freaked out and said, 'Helmi, this is deep! Are you going to save me if I drown?'
But I tried turning myself upside down underwater anyway. I dunno how well I did, but I got water going into my nose forcefully that it went up to my head and I thought I was going to faint. Not very smart there. At least I tried and know how it feels.
Came home and had homemade burgers with a choice of rye or mixed wheat bread, and burger patties with cheddar or Swiss cheese.
Healthy burgers indeed =)
