I woke up late, cursing FMLs and slapping myself silly. I was supposed to be at Padang Astaka for Bootcamp with Sanjaya at 6.45am. I got up at 7.10am when the sun was rising. How smart. My phone died the day before. It literally died. It's not functioning anymore. Finally. =( So one cheapo alarm clock is not enough to wake me up in the morning.

But I went anyway. And watched from the sidelines. Bought Sanjaya breakfast cos I felt so bad; came home to find a message from Anu, my host in Finland, telling me that the Finnish immigration sent her an email to say that my permit has been approved! I was overjoyed! And started dancing around. Lol.

Then I realised my permit starts on April 19 2010 and it's valid for one year. What? Which means my stay in Finland will be shorter? Sigh...Oh well. Whatever. I'm still happy I'm going finally.

Now to plan/organise. Gosh I don't even know where to start. But that aside, I'm actually feeling a little sad that I have to leave right now, when everything seem so right and good.

When I applied for this, I felt depressed, I didn't have a lot of friends, felt unproductive/stagnant career wise...Fast forward 6months later, which is now, I'm a happier person, I have made more friends and many good ones which I am truly grateful for, changed my job twice, broke up with the boyfriend, attended more parties and events through FHM and otherwise, had loads of fun almost every weekend...in a nutshell, I'm a happier person. Plus a few reasons that could potentially hold me back from leaving Malaysia.

Although I still haven't found financial freedom yet, I'm happier than I was before.

I'll definitely miss the following:
- Food. Oh glorious Malaysian food! Oh the variety! And oh how cheap they can be!
- Stumpy and Panu
- Michelle Kirsten Tai, our sometimes spontaneous dinners, her lovelorn stories and our blonde moments
- Ryan De Alwis *sniff*
- My apartment. And the boy that comes with it =(
- FHM events and parties. And having my photos in the magazine wuwuwuwu ='(
- Barsonic and their Long Island tea
- My current job and how busy it makes me look everyday

Will add more to the list when my brains are working better. It's 3.22am now. zzzzZZzz
