The day I found this

After three days of Internet deprivation, I got my fix first thing in the first work morning of the week. I expected a lot to happen over the weekend; lots of junk mails to clear, lots of different notifications on Facebook, updates on most blogs I read, more pictures to laugh at on Lolcats...

And then I got this. Tagged by an ex-classmate from college:

I was kinda shocked when I saw this picture cos I thought I looked different. I had fringe! I had a friggin' fringe! That I didn't remember having it in college. Forget about those droopy eyes now I know how to use an eyeliner :P Forget the nose that flares up everytime I smile. Forget the top that I've kept in my wardrobe since who knows when; and the watch that's now collecting dust in my 'chest' of tiny drawers.

I mean, it was only 2years ago. I certainly don't remember seeing myself looking younger :P (ok that was an inside joke.)

Now, I've never had baby smooth skin or one that is zit free. I never really bothered to take care of it during my teens but this picture, I believe, is raw. Un-photoshopped. Straight from the camera, innit? I see smoother cheeks =(

Sigh. I'm growing up.

Oh, I also notice that I've got more cheeks then, don't you think so? Like my face was somehow rounder then than now. It's like my jaw decided to elongate itself over time. At least that's what I notice recently. I need to put on weight but I need it in my cheeks =(
