Reminiscence and hopes

2001

The year of the 911 incident. It's weird how time flies. Two years after the crash, the memory of the incident was still fresh. As if it just happened the previous day. At least, that was what it was to me.

The year I turned 16. Sweet 16. It was a Sunday. My bro came back for good from Uni. And was flying off soon to the US for training. After church, he stayed back with me for MYF. Usually, my parents would go to the market and then come back to pick us up. So right after MYF ended, he rushed to the nearest confectionery, by foot, to buy a cake, for US. My mom and I.

It was the year I turned 16 on the day it was Mother's Day.


2003

Was working in GIS this year. Straightened my hair on Tuesday and had straight, long, nice hair on Wednesday - my day. Loke said, "Nice hair. I didn't know if that was you from behind" :P He's kinda cute, but balding hahaha :P Nah, he's just shorter than me :P

Then had a 'surprise party' in the pantry during lunch. Small cake, but from warm hearted colleagues whom I have just known for a few days. It was dear Lua's idea of buying me a cake. How sweet of her :)


2006

Wish I'd have a surprise like Jas did. All of my friends hide in my house, and my boyfriend appears from behind the curtain. But I'm sure that ain't gonna happen. Or at least what Sue had. With plans made together with the boyfriend, and then the friends appear, or the cake. Wait, actually, they're both similar. Just that Yih Shin was a huge surprise and the highlight of the event. Remember how Ross threw a surprise party for Rachel? Nevermind.

Now that there's this 'lil' gathering', I hope it won't be litterally a lil' gathering. I hope my 'hommies' will be there, I hope my long lost friends will be there, I hope there will be blaring loud music so that we could dance, I hope I can dress in a really sexy dress or short lacy/ruffled skirt or something just so sexy, I hope there would be alcohol and maybe, foam!! Oh but foam have to wear bikini. Oops, sorry. Parents are in. I hope it would be a great party. I hope it would at least turn out to be something like a party.

But I know it will surely be different.
