Beautiful Sarawak :P

Oh my gawsh!! Kuching is such a nice place!!! We spent a total of 4 days and 3 nights there.Went to so many places. Here's what we did:

Day 1
We stayed in Harbour View Hotel, which is located in the town centre of Kuching, right opposite the waterfront where you can view the Sarawak River and James Brooke's castle, Astana, and Fort Margherita on the opposite bank. We had kolok mee for lunch in one of the coffeshops nearby the hotel. Not bad actually. Tastes like wantan mee but with lesser sauce. After that, we left for Sarakraf Pavilion. Had a brief knowledge about the products of Sarawak and its tribes, and witnessed a welcoming dance by one of the tribes. Visited the weekend market after that, went through the rain while we were there, and while we were in the bus, Corne, our tour guide, bought some sago worms for a small fear factor challenge. 10 sago worms were bravely comsumed by LUCT students, which created an enjoyable moment for all of us. Dinner was at D'Alif restaurant, where they served yucky chinese food. Their soft shell crab burger seemed nice though but I have yet to try it. We went for a walk around the town after that. Took pictures of the nice scenery of the opposite bank, took a boat ride from one side of the river to the other and along the river. Came back to where we were before and took more pics. Crazy pics. Dunno to kill time or what but haha, was fun :P

Taken in the plane by me!! Haha...like the lighting effect. Nice pic. :)

Geez...I really take a long time to blog. I guess this will be the end of my Day 1. Will continue Day 2,3, & 4 tomorrow or smthg. LOL. And will post pictures. ;) Cheerio!
